All CRC and Nujevi products do not contain parabens, in the exception of our Sunscreen. However, our product only contains low amounts of paraben, which helps with preservation, as well as prevent the risk of contamination or degradation.

The ingredients used in CRC and Nujevi products have been studied and regulated well, with the usage tested by the Food & Drug Administration. This means our ingredients have been tested to ensure its safety.

Generally, CRC and Nujevi products do not contain any fragrances. However, there are a few exceptions in a handful of products to give a pleasant scent. Not to worry, as it is still proven tolerable.

We have strong environmental beliefs and do our best to reduce our use of packaging materials. While all our packaging is still made of plastic, we do our best to also use other sustainable materials to make sure the environmental impact is lessened.

CRC and Nujevi products are not described as vegan nor can we make such claims, though they are almost completely vegan, with the exception of cruelty-free beeswax and animal and plant-derived xanthan gum.

We believe that SPF is a slightly misleading term. It only refers to UVB protection but not against the equally damaging and dangerous UVA rays. We at MD Cosmetique, believe in broad spectrum sun protection, which is crucial regardless of where you are because UVA rays can even penetrate windows from the office, car, and plane.

However, talc found in any CRC and Nujevi product does not contain any minerals that possibly contain this ingredient. As such, our products are safe and free of carcinogens. Moreover, the talc CRC and Nujevi do use is consistently tested by independent labs.

We do not recommend using retinoids with other CRC and Nujevi products, as the combination can lessen the skin’s natural protective barriers, which may lead to inflammatory issues and breakouts.

We do offer product that contain retinol, vitamin C, and Ceramide-3 that are safe to use on the skin, provided that they are not combined with other brands products.

Many products may show that they need to be used anywhere within 9-36 months upon opening the packaging. As such, you must make sure you use the product within the timeframe before the quality begins to deteriorate.

CRC and Nujevi products are hypoallergenic, or at least formulated to result in minimum risk of allergies. That said, for those who may have experienced any reactions after using cosmetic products, it’s best to conduct a patch test. All you need to do is to apply a small amount on the forearm and keep it on for an entire day.
