Dr. Vartan Libaridian, fondly known as Dr. V by the community, is an established pharmacist and one of the faces behind Nujevi. He possesses over three decades of experience in research and development in pharmacy and cosmetic chemistry. Outside work, he enjoys classical music, creating orchid variants, and collecting model cars and planes.
Michelle Volynsky, Ph.D. | Co-founder and Vice-President
Dr. Michelle Volynsky is committed to sharing her knowledge and experience with the skincare community through Nujevi. She has been conducting research and development in organic chemistry for over 25 years and is now focusing on cosmetic chemistry for 20 years and counting. Beyond her work life, she loves to read, study Riki, do yoga, listen to classical music, and spend time with her six grandchildren.
Story Behind Brand
The journey to making Nujevi the luxury skincare brand it is today began in 1995 when Dr. V and Dr. Michelle opened a consulting laboratory to formulate and review high-end cosmeceutical products. More than that, they utilized their laboratory and expertise to provide new technical ideas for their clients. Fast forward to 2003, the first line of Nujevi skincare products was born. In 2003, Dr. V and Dr. Michelle opened their organic-certified manufacturing facility to continue producing the highest-quality skincare products everyone deserves.
For 20 years, Nujevi has continued to stay small to ensure all clients receive individual support, and that every medical professional partnered with the brand is properly trained to use their products and procedures. Moreover, this allows professionals behind Nujevi to oversee every stage of production, starting from brainstorming sessions to testing formulas in-house. All skincare products will also go through a thorough evaluation from third-party laboratories for effectiveness and quality, so clients can experience the amazing "Nujevi-effect".
